Breakout space designed to accommodate both seated and standing meetings, quiet working areas incorporated to support different working styles, emphasis on subtle tones and natural elements to create a calm and productive atmosphere
The Challenge
- Office environment was tired and outdated, lacking a cohesive and modern feel.
- Breakout and kitchen areas were underutilised and not fit for collaborative working.
- Lack of informal meeting spaces for 1-to-1s and team discussions.
- Overall workspace did not reflect the company’s brand identity or support employee wellbeing.
The Solution
- Installed new high-quality carpets throughout to refresh and modernise the workspace.
- Carried out full redecoration using subtle, calming tones to create a more inviting environment.
- Furnished side rooms with Halifax Oak finishes to create a consistent and cohesive design theme.
- Designed and fitted a new kitchen, canteen and breakout area featuring Halifax Oak furniture for continuity.
- Introduced soft green tones and planting to reflect corporate colours and enhance wellbeing.
- Created a flexible breakout space suitable for informal meetings, 1-to-1s, quiet working, and stand-up collaboration, including a fully fitted kitchen with coffee machine and Quooker tap.
- Installed acoustic slat wall panelling in the boardroom and canteen to improve sound quality and add a modern design feature.
- Integrated widescreen presentation technology in the boardroom to support effective meetings and collaboration.
